Spinster + pin up = spin up! A calendar featuring 12 spinsters. Spinster is derogatory term referring to older women unlikely ever to marry. But actually spinsters were women who spun yarn and used their craft to be economically independent and chose not to marry. So we are reclaiming Spinster with 12 older women as pin ups. The pictures are inspired by vintage Playboy covers and movie posters. All featuring yarn and older ladies showing their naturally aged bodies. Because you are never to old to show you knits. |
